The author loses all credibility when he says he wants lag compensation for BF4. Lag comp is in COD BO2 and it's HORRIBLE.

I routinely find myself getting killed by people I haven't seen yet when coming around corners only to see on the kill cam that they had already come around the corner and had plenty of time to see me. The bullets don't hit as hard with lag comp, as well. When the lag comp isn't hitting me as hard, I'll have huge matches and be ca...

This seems like a backtrack to me. They saw the poop storm they had over the used games issue and put this in to convey innocence.

If it needed the cloud, then why is it possible to run on the 360 as well? The 360 doesn't use a cloud. The PC won't either.

They did it because they got paid. It's as simple as that. There's nothing wrong with it. It's business. Just don't try and twist it as something else when anyone with a brain knows that MS paid them for exclusivity.

If what she said was written out, I believe it would be like this, "We've come a super long way in 7 months. You're not even going to believe what we ship."

She's talking about how far they've come in the PAST 7 months and you won't believe what it's like when they ship it later on.

So does anyone have another link to the video? YouTube took this one down due to copyright infringement.

I would like to know who the fuck would disagree with thechosenone's post.

I"m not sure most people want to stand to play. By leaning forward, people can sit in their chair, sofa, etc. I would think it's also a little safer considering you can't see your surroundings with the Rift. If you get really into a game where you're using your legs to move, you could end up running into something in the room. You don't pose that risk when the person is leaning in their chair.

The head tracking sure doesn't look 1:1. He moves his head 180 degrees left to right and the screen only move like 50 degrees or so. I'm sure it's easily fixed. I just don't get why he has it set like that. Oh, and I can still see lag with that Kinect. He puts his arms out and there's a delay to when you see the animation. Nice concept though. It's a better use of the Kinect than what MS has shown. Then again, it took the Rift to get me even close to being inte...

When speaking for just myself, I can honestly say I will never buy another COD game as long as it doesn't have dedicated servers and uses lag compensation.

There are definitely other issues with the series but that is by far the biggest reason I can't stand COD anymore.

I have a feeling gamers won't even need the OS in 5-10 years. Steam is starting the movement to Linux and I'm very happy about that. A free OS that performs better than Windows? Sign me up.

Like hell the lag is in my mind. I can see it plain as day. All you have to do is watch for a quick movement from an arm or leg and then watch the screen. There is a delay.

I have no fricken horse in this race. I have a 360, PS3 and PC, and I mostly just play PC. I don't care who made the thing, I CAN see lag. I agree that it's definitely better than the first Kinect but it still has lag. The fact that you claim to be a Kinect expert tells me you're an Xb...

I'd be more paranoid about someone hacking it and watching you without you even knowing.

I can't speak for everyone else but I disagreed with you because you CAN see lag. I don't know why you're dismissing it as practically nothing. It is still noticeable and in hardcore video games, that much lag (even though you claim it's practically nothing) will get you killed. And this is with a very simple program. What happens to the lag when it's a graphically intense game or over the internet?

What is wrong with the DS4 controller?

Better ergonomics than before, touchpad, better sticks with less dead zone, better d-pad than xbox, PSmove compatible, recessed triggers, speaker, etc

That's what I was waiting for in the presentation. I can't believe they'd just continue with the same-old-same-old Xbox Live. Why do people put up with that?

The die hard fans aren't what determines success in this industry. If die hards determined the winners, Nintendo would be killing right now with their Wii U.

I'm sorry, I really think MS has already lost this generation. Not being able to rent or borrow games is a deal breaker. Whoever made this decision should be fired.

I couldn't care less about that clarification. I won't be buying the Xbox One on that bit of information alone. If I can't use Gamefly or borrow a friend's game without having to log into his account, I don't want anything to do with the console.

Wow, what a disappointing presentation. I really don't think I cared for 90% of the stuff shown. I don't care about all that garbage they're concentrating on. How about concentrating on games and better ways to interact with them. They did almost nothing with the controller. I still couldn't give a mummer's fart about Kinect. They showed nothing about the games that got me excited.

It feels like MS is lost. They're trying to be/do everything. ...
